Very well made .It has a handy hand strap on the back of this so making it less likely to be dropped .I was able to get it over my hand to be on my wrist so no way would it then be dropped and it was great to be able to write things down and then glance at the device when I needed it.The strap is adjustable to be able to do that .The stap itself does not come off, and at times I do find it gets in the way .It comes very well packed up and well presented in the box .Camera takes good photos .The top of the device seems a little exposed near the laser /scanner , also at the bottom looks like it could get damaged if droppedIt takes a long time to start up just over two minutes which is a long time if you are waiting for it .I tried it on a barcode and did not realise that the code was upside down , but it read the barcode with no problem.It has large buttons on each side to operate the scanner so no worries if you are left or right handed .I downloaded two apps that I use regularly and it was quick and easy to do after I connected it to my Wi-Fi. which took a bit longer than normal , but I got there in the end .It has a sim card slot so it could be used as a phone if you wish , it has the phone book logo and it transferred all my contacts to it .I decided to keep it on as it takes so long to start up , and battery lasts well.It has a very good idea that the battery can be removed very easily , just unlock the tab on the back of it remove and fit new one . Useful to have if you need to perhaps pass this onto another person for the next shift .Some have said that it is heavy , but I do not find that to be the case for me . I used to work in the building trade so maybe I am used to using tools all day and do not notice .
