The Arrvel T50C is a surprisingly capable rugged handheld device for the price. I’ve been using it for inventory scanning and general data entry, and it has performed very well so far.The barcode scanner is fast and accurate. It reads both 1D and 2D barcodes quickly without needing to line things up perfectly, which makes scanning inventory or packages much faster. The device itself feels very durable and well built. It has that rugged industrial design you expect from warehouse equipment, but it’s still compact enough to use comfortably with one hand.Performance has been smooth thanks to Android 15 and the octa-core processor. Apps open quickly and navigating through menus or scanning tasks doesn’t feel sluggish. The 5-inch screen is clear and responsive, and it’s bright enough to use in most working environments.Connectivity is another strong point. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE work well, and the built-in GPS is useful for location tracking in field applications. The NFC feature is also a nice bonus for certain workflows.Battery life has been solid. The 4000mAh battery easily lasts through most of a workday for typical scanning tasks, and charging through USB-C is convenient.
